MEET & MELT

On such a long hiatus since I've hardly touched the laptop and will only do so when I needed it. But anyways, hope I'll be more active soon. LOL.

So, staying at the East side makes life so easy as there's many cafes around these areas. And also, hearing from the cousin that this cafe serves really good toast so I decided to drop by some day to try it!

Took me prolly 30 seconds to decide that I wanted this Ferrero Rocher Toast ($13.90) right in my face and proceed with the order but sadly, I think it took more than 30 minutes before it arrives! Such a long and dull wait while the food kept going past but it wasn't for us. But, the service & the toast made up for it! I've tried another toast but I think I prefer this compared to the other one! Go try it if you haven't! No regrets!

S I X T H

High Tea has been something that I've been dying to try out & I'm so glad that out of so many choices (was really spoilt for choices!), I picked out Goodwood Park Hotel! Reason being, I've heard so many good reviews about them even before thinking about heading over!

After researching online, I've chosen Cafe L'Espresso for the English Afternoon Tea Buffet & oh my, everything was too good! From the afternoon snacks to the desserts, it was really AWESOME! Not to mention, service was really top notch too!!

If you're thinking of where to go for high tea, I'll highly recommend Goodwood Park Hotel!

A date out with the boy to celebrate our 6th which falls on the 14th that was during a weekday therefore we postponed to the weekend to celebrate. Thanks for everything throughout these years and cheers to many more years ahead!

Short drinks with the colleagues to celebrate the manager's belated birthday and as usual, too much laughters and games & ended off the night pretty late. Really exhausted by then.

Have a good weekend all~

Mum's Day.

Mother's Day. The day where everyone starts posting up on Instagram to wish their Mums' but I wasn't one of them. I'm close to my mum, just that I don't express it out.

My mum, the one and only that understands us. The moment she sees our action and knows what we're up to. LOL. The best mum I could ever have, waking up to everything that was neatly done for me. Thou we may have our differences at times, she's still the one that I care about the most.

She's the one that sacrifices the most for me and my sister. Cared for us since the day we're out in this world, always trying to give us the best she could even though we told her she doesn't have to.

As I'm growing older, my mum gets older too. It's time for me to be taking care of her and providing her with nothing but the best. We do not have to be celebrating Mother's Day just because it is Mother's Day today. If we're happy, everyday is also Mother's Day.

But anyways, thank you Mum for being there for me whenever I need you and for your support all these years. You're the best mum I ever had!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, Mummy!

Birthday dinner for our friend at Studio Cafe. Ordered this awesome plate of Nasi Goreng Kampong Special ($6.50) and no regrets! Just that the rice was a tad too much. But other than that, everything was perrrrrrfectttt! Service was good and this cafe is Halal-certified! Perfect for anyone to dine here if you've run out of places to visit!

The Little Prince Creamery was located right beside Studio Cafe and man, I was totally looking forward to visit it after dinner. But sadly, I had to stop myself from eating all these junks and was also too full for a second round.

As there isn't much stuffs for us to do and the night is still young, Krispy Kreme @ Airport T2 to just chill out and got some donuts. Totally not a fan of it and honestly speaking, I love to only take photos of such donuts and will prolly have a mouth or 2 and will not touch it anymore. There's just this something between me and cupcakes/donuts. LOL. Guess it's too sweet even though I've got sweet tooth.

As much as I don't wish for my weekends to end, my schedule is packed for this week and I barely have enough rest for myself. Le sigh, I foresee a tired week ahead again.

Eyebrow Embroidery Healing Process

Hi! Here's the process of the eyebrow embroidery I did last weekend. So basically Day 2 - 4 remains unchanged as shown on the photo above. Skipped Day 4 photo because I was out till late after meeting and thought that the brows look similar to the previous day so no harm skipping a day of shooting the brows right? Hehe.

Today marks the 5th day of the brows and as you can see, it starts peeling and I guess it'll prolly get completed within the week or so. Will be taking a photo of the brows once it's healed completely!

Finally the week is over and my brows are perfect now! The skin has peeled off and as shown above (Day 7), this is the look of my brows now! Still loving it and will not hesitate to recommend this to all of my girl friends out there should they ask for any recommendations!

Shall end off this post with Sharon's contact details again! Ring her up now for more details!

Midweek

Midweek is finally here. Thank god for the 1 extra off day week that I am obviously looking forward to!

Life's been nothing but just work and home. Totally too drained out for gym or rather, just plain lazy. Anyways, was craving for some truffle fries during lunch that I decided to pop by Medzs for some. But sadly, it's not as good as I expected it to be. After trying out the truffle fries in Strangers Reunion, I can't help but to compare it with the others. Still, nothing can beat it. LOL.

Everyday I'm still complaining that I'm tired and lacking of sleep. It just feels like I'm just a young adult living in a 90 year old lady's body. But anyways, last day of the week tomorrow. Let's press on and look forward to the weekend!

The Brow & Beauty Boutique

Been about a year or 2 since I last got my eyebrow embroidery done and I was complaining how much I want to amend it because I find it too thin and the arc of my brows were too high. And I've been wanting the Korean Brows ever since I've been hooked onto my dramas. Always envying the actresses with their straight & thick brows.

So, I decided to Google on the best eyebrow embroidery in Singapore and this was recommended by Tammy (read here) & some other bloggers.

Today's blog post will be my eyebrow embroidery process with Sharon from The Brow & Beauty Boutique.

Before

Drawing the shape that I want

Numbing Cream process

Just me trying to be playful, hehe!
Left: All done
Right: Applying the color on the brows

And voila, this is the end product of my brows which I loved!!! Not only I'm able to walk out of the shop confidently compared to the previous one, this one definitely look much more natural than before! I did the 4D Eyebrow Embroidery and all I can say is, this is much more than what I expected it to be!

If you girls out there are considering and contemplating on a good & reliable eyebrow designer, I HIGHLY recommend Sharon because not only she's darn good, she's very meticulous when it comes to designing my brows. And by the way, I made her change the drawing of my brows before the process and she never once complained or stop me from changing just because it was very tedious for her! Even when I thought that the shape was good enough for me, she even made me lie down again saying that the brows are uneven! See, this is how professional she is!

I've always believe in sharing good things together with everyone. So, do ring up Sharon now if you're keen and make an appointment in advance as her schedule is really pack!! In case you're wondering this is an ad, it isn't! I'm sharing this with everyone because I really like her service and it's really worth sharing!!

Maybe my words are not that strong enough, click on the link to their Facebook page and look at the amount of positive reviews on Sharon!

Will be updating on the process of my brows till it's fully healed in the next post! Make an appointment with Sharon now and go be beautiful!

Le Halo

After my eyelash appointment, headed over to Le Halo for dinner since we're mad hungry! When we just set our foot on Tiong Bahru MRT, my sister checked and said that they're closed at 6! Being the panic me, I decided to ring them up and was hoping that they're still open! But to my horror, they're really closed! But what touches me was, "Oh, since you're already here, you can still just drop by." Said by the shop owner. Upon hearing that, we (my sister and cousins) rushed down and decided to finish it as soon as possible so they're able to leave the shop.

And so, when I arrived, not only I was being served by 2 really sweet ladies, they even assisted us throughout the entire dinner!

Le Halo, located at Blk 4 Jalan Bukit Ho Swee #01-162 S162004 just right below the HDB flats. For those who're living there, lucky them! While waiting for your food to be served, you can even play games with your friends, such as five stones, Snap and more!

As usual, the camera gets to snap photos before our tummy does! Lol, spent lots of time just on that cause we want nothing but the best on our Instagram! Well, over ordered and over ate. But, we left the shop with 4 happy tum tum and I'm really impressed with their food and service! So, do head down to try if you have not! Also, check out my Instagram for promotion before going down to Le Halo!

Strangers Reunion

Hello from Singapore! After contemplating for the longest time ever, I decided to set up a new blog to pen down my thoughts and the love for cafes I visit everywhere I go! Dedicating my first blog post on Strangers Reunion.

Strangers Reunion
35 Kampong Bahru Road, S169356

Spent my Saturday at the hair salon together with the boy before heading over cause I've been dying to visit them but never had the chance to and I finally did! Also, my love & crave for truffle fries never dies and this is by far the best I ever had and I'll definitely head down again thou they're on the pricier side for a cafe!

Top: Helter Skelter
Jeans: Topshop
Shoes: Nike
Bag: YSL

So, I was pretty attracted by the back alley at Kampong Bahru Road that I can't help but to have my ootd shot there and I was pretty satisfied with the results.

This pretty much sums up my first blog post and do keep your eyes glued to this page and allow me to share with you more on the next cafe I visited earlier~
